Sepia scenes # 67

I like waffles and make them rather often, but not on a waffle iron like this. This one I found in an old house. It was not so easy to make them in the good old days. More sepia scenes can you see if you click on the above logos.

Good morning nemonen. What a good find. Waffles are a fav of mine as well. It would be fun to try working with this (after a thorough cleaning, of course) but I'm guessing the heating would be very uneven.

What a neat find! I love going into old houses that have been abandoned. We have an old ghost mining town near where I live and it's always fun to go and search the ruins that are left.
Beautiful photo!

Great subject and a good photo. My mother had something like that for making grilled cheese sandwiches over a flame.

Kul bild att göra om till Sepia!

Lovely find. In the old days, without central heating, the stove was a place of warmth, the cast iron keeping so much heat. The only problem to the modern person is that it takes way to long to get hot for cooking from cold. But the old ways seem lost, I think that I would like to have this for cooking...

how interesting--both the photo and the waffle maker. I'd like to give it a go. Kaye—the road goes ever ever on
